I really loved it - I think I read this one, then proceeded to read all the others that were out at the time (my sister had many of them, so I remember lining them up in chronological order, and then filling in the gaps when I could afford to - I'm very OCD about reading in order).<br /><br />Not sure what I think about there being annotations in the margins, though... I think that would be really distracting just because I'd really want to know what the author (and others) had to say about the book, but would also not want to be distracted all the time. It would be like someone talking at me during a movie... Would it not have been better to include an afterword or something?<br /><br />I'll still probably get this when it comes out in paperback (my copy of the 1991 edition is in storage at the moment).<br /><br />I'd recommend you follow this up with the next two in the trilogy and then Kevin J Anderson's Jedi Academy trilogy.
